Barack Obama's spokesperson just burned the entire Republican party with one sentence

President Barack Obama will apparently not be watching the next Republican presidential primary debate this week because he has "better things to do".

During a media conference on Tuesday White House spokesperson Josh Earnest cut the Republican party down to size by casually letting the assembled journalists know that the president won't be bothering to tune in to the next Donald Trump showpiece.

The most powerful person in the world is still a "keenly interested observer” following the race, Earnest said. He just doesn't feel the need to, y'know, watch it.

According to The Hill, Obama didn't watch the first debate in August either.

Number of monkeys given: absolutely zero.
