Once in a blue moon, newspapers make a spelling mistake that is so shockingly bad, it’s just straight up hilarious.
This time, local newspaper the Post-Journal from Jamestown, in upstate New York, wins the most awkward typo of the year, after publishing an article on Saturday about Julia Roberts with the headline:
Julia Roberts Finds Life and Her Holes Get Better With Age
The story went on to discuss the actor’s latest film Ben is Back and her experience of playing a mother to a drug-addicted son who unexpectedly arrives at his family’s home on Christmas Eve.
The local paper was quick to spot the mistake, later publishing a correction that explained: “A headlines on Page D4 in Saturday's Post-Journal should have read ‘Jualia Roberts Finds Love and her Roles Get Better with Age’
It seems like there were even more types than we bargained for!
But the response was not quick enough before social media spotted the mistake and, of course, had a great time with it.
How this error was overseen will forever remain a mystery, but for now let us enjoy what the internet does with it.
