talkradio and Twitter
People have been complaining to Twitter about Julia Hartley-Brewer’s mocking tweets about 16-year-old climate change activist Greta Thunberg, and she’s annoyed.
The controversial talkRADIO presenter took to twitter and shared a few screengrabs of a tweet she penned about the young girl that had been reported to Twitter by multiple users.
She wrote: “Some people really do need to work on their social lives…”
The tweet in question said: “Hi Greta, I’ve just booked some long haul flights for my family to enjoy some winter sun on the beach this Christmas. Level of guilt being felt: 0%”
Twitter found that the tweet did not violate its terms and conditions.
Needless to say, people didn’t agree with her tweet, nor it’s sentiments.
Greta Thunberg has become the target of online harassment abuse from climate change deniers. The activist recently embarked on a zero-carbon two-week voyage across the Atlantic on-board a solar-powered yacht.
