Fox News’ eye watering coverage of poverty in the US is enough to make Ebeneezer Scrooge look like the good guy.
Earlier this week President Obama slammed the channel for its demonising coverage of the poor, and the network - somehow recently named the most-trusted news network in the country - took umbrage.
Cue Jon Stewart, who has beautifully juxtaposed clips of Fox News denying they are mean about poor people with, umm, clips of Fox News being mean about poor people.
“How f**ing removed from reality is Fox’s* perception of their own coverage on poverty?” Stewart asked.
“Are these glaring contradictions a product of lack of self awareness or cynicism or stupidity or evil?”
