Jobseeker accidentally sends employer chilli recipe instead of CV

A teenage jobseeker learned a lesson about checking what files you attach to emails the hard way after accidentally sending her prospective employer a recipe for chilli beef instead of her CV.

Heather McNab, 18, was attempting to apply for a job as an estate agent.

Her tweet about the mix-up went viral, and even Jamie Oliver himself had an opinion on the matter, replying to the teen on Twitter to say “brilliant you deserve the job that stew can do anything”.

Speaking to MailOnline about the incident, she said:

There’s also a lot of people saying things like “you should have got the job if you promised to make the chilli” and if only they were right, because I’m starting to believe they may not see me as a viable candidate now.
