In a bid to tackle obesity, Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt has told restaurants - including Pizza Express and Starbucks - that they must cut portion sizes of puddings or face being named and shamed.
If restaurants choose to ignore Hunt (we would), he will publish a list of the restaurants with the biggest puddings.
What could possibly go wrong?
As you can imagine, the idea of a pudding list was welcomed by the masses.
In a private meeting, Hunt told 100 food companies that "doing nothing was not an option."
Going out to eat is no longer a treat. It's a regular habit for many families and is contributing significantly to the extra calories and sugar that we all consume on a daily basis.
At first you came for our NHS, Hunt. Back off our cake.
