Jada Pinkett Smith says she will be “bringing herself to The Red Table” after R&B singer August Alsina said Will Smith “gave me his blessing” for a relationship with Jada – and it has left social media in stitches.

It appears as if the Red Table Talk host has seen all your memes and Internet jokes this week and his making herself her own guest to address these “affair” rumours.

Red Table Talk, a sort of Facebook talk show hosted by Pinkett Smith, has quickly become the go-to show for celebrities setting the record straight and giving candid, often emotional interviews.

Basically it's Hollywood’s headmaster's office – if you do wrong or have been wronged, you are expected to go and see Ms. Pinkett Smith and her regular co-hosts mother Adrienne Adrienne Banfield-Norris and daughter Willow Smith to sort it out.

So it was no surprise that as soon as news broke earlier this week that Alsina was spilling some hot tea on the kind of relationship he had with Pinkett Smith, something she has denied strongly, internet users began with their comical suggestions.

Days later, on Thursday night, Pinkett Smith tweeted: “There’s some healing that needs to happen” and while she did not mention Alsina’s name, everyone has decided this is all about him and his recent “revelations”

This is how hilarious tweeters have envisioned the episode might to go down:

One thing is for sure: Pinkett Smith, like the true head teacher she is, sure knows how to get to the bottom of things. Who remembers when the world stopped as she spoke to Jordyn Woods on Red Table Talk after her kiss-gate with Khloe Kardashian’s ex Tristan Thompson?

She also managed the major damage control for Kylie Jenner's former best friend, who had spent over a week in silence after being accused of breaking up the Kardashian household.

Or what about the the time TI was forced to explain to a disappointed Pinkett Smith why he attends his teenage daughter’s gynaecologist appointments to "check her hymen”?

The tell-all interview with Woods attracted 7.6 million views globally in the first 24 hours and TI’s episode broke the 3 million mark in its first day.

All she needs to do is tell us the date and time and we will be there.

Jada Pinkett Smith and August Alsina

We can’t help but wonder if Will would be at the table too? How about Alsina?

All of this drama comes after Alsina, who is 27, said that he had a relationship with Pinkett Smith for a number of years in a new interview on The Breakfast Club podcast to promote his YouTube documentary StateofEMERGEncy: The Rise of August Alsina and his new album,.

However, a representative for Pinkett Smith has told Page Six that August’s claims are “absolutely not true”.

Online DIY detectives were quick to try and find "evidence" of this alleged relationship, such as him appearing on Red Table Talk, or his song lyrics in Nunya saying:

Why is you textin’ me / Asking who next to me / Why you care about who having sex with me / Now you all on my line, why you pressing me?

The video for the song featured a text conversation with a woman named Koren and a GIF of Pinkett Smith. Koren is Pinkett Smith's middle name.

People also pointed out that Will and Jada have openly discussed the nature of their marriage in the past.

She previously said:

“I told him from the gate, if you marry me, we’re going to be together. We’re going to be under the same roof. You might be on one end of that joker with somebody else and I might be with somebody else, but we gone be in this joker together.”

Red Table Talk streams exclusively on Facebook Watch.
