Jacob Rees-Mogg has said that we must 'trust the people' on Brexit, and everyone is making the same point.

Taking to Twitter, Rees-Mogg shared a Telegraph article suggesting that the newly ensconced prime minister Boris Johnson is siding with the people over the elite over Brexit, and said:

Trust the people.

However, it goes without saying that everyone made the same point, which is that obviously, Rees-Mogg and Johnson are the elite.
