A purple sex toy was left on Jacob Rees-Mogg’s car while he was on holiday

Jacob Rees-Mogg’s property was vandalised while he was away with his family.

‘Posh scum’ and ‘shut up and die ****head’ were scrawled across his windows and garage, while the word ‘scum’ was spray-painted across his wife Helena’s car.

Condoms were also strewn on the grass surrounding his West Harptree, Somerset home.

A purple dildo was also left on his Range Rover, though the Conservative MP, who holds the North East Somerset seat, was not home at the time.

Rees-Mogg, his wife and Helena and his two children are in New York, and a source said his housekeeper had sent photos to the MP, The Sun reports.

The incident was blamed on left wing extremists as the ‘A’ anarchy sign was left on a vehicle on the property.

He told the paper: "It appears to be someone who can’t hold their drink – and probably not Catholic."

However, it has all been cleared up so this drunken protest will not even have a short-term effect.
