This photo of Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner in Rome has inspired a lot of jokes

Ivanka Trump, senior advisor to the president of the United States (and, as it happens, his daughter) has posted a photograph from Rome and Twitter has had a field day.

In the picture, Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner are depicted in the foreground with the Eternal City serving as the backdrop.

Ivanka, adopting the kind of line beloved by Facebook album users after a Roman holiday, added the caption: “When in Rome” followed by an ellipsis and the smiling face with hearts emoji.

Now we can't begrudge someone having fun on a holiday but there just seems something off and weird about this picture.

Everything from their grins to the way Ivanka is standing just makes us feel very uncomfortable.

Given Ivanka and Jared's popularity or lack thereof, the people of Twitter responded in their droves. And they responded with jokes.
