Ivanka Trump recently updated her Twitter bio, and took out a key phrase proclaiming her support of female empowerment.
Her bio used to read:
Wife, mother, sister, daughter. Entrepreneur & advocate for the education & empowerment of women & girls. This is my personal page. Views expressed are my own.
It now reads:
‘Wife, mother, sister, daughter. Advisor to POTUS on job creation + economic empowerment, workforce development & entrepreneurship. Personal Pg. Views are my own.

It wasn’t too long ago that the president’s daughter was delivering a speech on women’s empowerment in Tokyo.
Ivanka has been the recipient of much acrimony following accusations against her father. Many have even accused her of being 'complicit' by not speaking out against certain Trump administration policies.
When asked about the criticisms she said in a CBC interview:
If being complicit ... is wanting to be a force for good and to make a positive impact, then I'm complicit.
I don't know that the critics who may say that of me, if they found themselves in this very unique and unprecedented situation that I am now in, would do any differently than I am doing, so I hope to make a positive impact.
