Jedi don't just exist in the Star Wars films, apparently.
As the below chart from Statista shows, 176,632 people identified as Jedi in the 2011 census, when asked if they belonged to a religion.
This number was down from 390,127 (0.8 per cent of the population) in the 2001 census, when Jedi Knights represented the fourth largest religion in the country ahead of Sikhism, Judaism, and Buddhism.
