Britain’s favourite baking chain has added a second vegan alternative to its menu.
Following the huge success of the Greggs vegan sausage roll, the beloved Newcastle-based bakery has launched a vegan steak bake.
The steak bake is one of Greggs’ most popular menu items, so the excitement at a new vegan version is immense. So much so, that people even queued up to see it being launched.
But not everyone is happy.
Piers Morgan – who is known for his love of controversy and hatred of all things vegan – has tweeted his displeasure at the new vegan delicacy.
Some people agreed with him…
But most think he’s chatting rubbish.
