When thinking about the older generation's reaction to LGBT+ Pride, there can be a tendency to not get your hopes up.
However, this grandma is going against the stereotype, and supporting her bisexual granddaughter in the best way possible.
Taking to Twitter, Lexie, from Virginia, USA, explained how her grandma surprised her:
I got up this morning to get ready for #DCPride.Â
My grandma walked into my room, looked at my bi flag and said, "Oh, this needs to be pressed out!"
Such a simple gesture, but it holds so much love and meaning for me.Â
She continued to explain how it had taken her a long time to come out to her grandma, because she was scared that she would start to think of her in a different way, but nothing changed.
In a further expression of love and solidarity with her grandma, Lexie finished the tweet string with a beautiful portrait of the two of them together.
