These viral videos of a 'UFO' were nothing more than a blimp

A rather convincing set of clips have appeared on the popular video app TikTok which looked to have caught a real UFO on film.

Multiple videos that were posted on Monday showed a large object floating in the skies above New York and New Jersey and you have to say at first glance it does look like something from outer space.

Sadly before UFO enthusiasts start losing their minds this really isn't what it looks like.

Insider reports have since emerged that this unidentified flying object was actually the famous Goodyear blimp which was hovering over MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey during the NFL game between the New York Giants and Pittsburgh Steelers.

Twitter user @DRoyFlor who shared one of the above videos later admitted that they were aware that the object was the aforementioned blimp.

We all know that UFOs are cool but have this many people never seen a blimp before.
