No matter how confident a flyer you are, nothing feels better than touching down safely on the tarmac after a flight.
Once you're up in the air, things can seem rather boring - just a long wait in a tin can until you reach your destination.
For those actively working your flight though, their time in the sky can be anything but dull.
A recent Reddit thread asked pilots and flight attendants for their scariest mid-flight stories - this is what they said:
Sparks flying from the engine.
Don't be a hero.
Good old fashioned engine failure.
This terrifying scenario.
