Employees under Trump are asking for advice on how to rebel against him

In a move of dissent, a group of federal employees tasked with implementing Donald Trump’s policies have signed up to a workshop on civil disobedience.

Less than two weeks into Trump’s presidency, 180 people have signed up for a workshop that will give advice on workers’ rights and how they can express civil disobedience, according to the Washington Post.

Some workers have already attended a support group for civil servants wanting to discuss their opposition to Trump’s administration.

Others are even seeking advice from former workers under the Obama administration on how they can push back against Trump’s agenda.

The Post reports that some federal employees have “Set up social media accounts to anonymously leak word of changes that Trump appointees are trying to make”.

One employee at the Justice Department told the Post:

You’re going to see the bureaucrats using time to their advantage. People here will resist and push back against orders they find unconscionable.

It seems things are going swimmingly in a Trump White House then.
