OK, we're all aware the Eric Trump most probably isn't the sharpest tool in the rack, but his latest tweet on National Boss's Day just consolidates this even more.

On the day, which is a bizarre American celebration in which employees thank their bosses, he took to Twitter to post some 'cards' that the 'girls' that work in his office had kindly left on his floor:

This is what I get for #NationalBossDay from the awesome girls on my floor.

A card would have been just fine. #TeamTrump

Many on social media were quick to point out that it seems Eric hadn't even read the cards.

If he had, he would have realised that they were all from satirical website Someecards, and that they were all 100 per cent mocking him.

Some of the wisecracks featured on the cards included:

For Boss's Day, I'm going to try really hard to wait until you are out of earshot to complain about you.

Oh, how very positive.

Another said:

This Boss's Day, I would like to say thank you for the job that gives me health insurance that covers my anxiety medication that I need to take because of this job.

Oh, equally glowing.

First thing's first though. Girls - like seriously... GIRLS!?

WOMEN.

Someecards were quick to clap back.

Like, did he even read it!?

People didn't hold back...

Ouch...
