This thread comparing politicians to Doctor Who baddies is the Brexit respite you need

When it comes to both politics and Dr Who, it would seem there's no such thing as too niche a joke.

This theory was put to the test by comedy writer Sarah Dempster, who created a Twitter thread comparing the worst politicians to their Dr Who counterparts - but only those between 1972-81, of course.

Proving her right, the thread went immediately viral. It seems to be exactly what everyone needs to take their minds off Brexit.
