The President of the United States took exception to being called 'old'. He is 71-years-young.
On Saturday, while visiting Vietnam as part of a 12 day tour of Asia, the President of the United States voiced his outrage at slurs made on his character, by none other than Kim Jong-un (dubbed 'Rocket Man' by Trump).
It was reported that a statement from the communist state's Foreign Ministry, released on Saturday said:
His current trip to our surrounding region is a warmonger's visit for confrontation to rid the DPRK (Democratic People's Republic of Korea) of its self-defensive nuclear deterrence.
In the same briefing the government in Pyongyang renewed its reference to President Trump as a 'dotard' - meaning an old person, and called him a 'lunatic'.
Reckless remarks by an old lunatic like Trump will never scare us or stop our advance.
On the contrary, all this makes us more sure that our choice to promote economic construction at the same time as building up our nuclear force is all the more righteous, and it pushes us to speed up the effort to complete our nuclear force.
In a tweet (what else?) President Donald Trump responded, and showed that the highest office in the free world would not suffer such slanders.
Being called 'old'.
