Trump is now trying to claim his infamous 'Covfefe' tweet had a deeper meaning

Cast your mind back to a simpler time, in 2017: remember when Trump tweeted "Covfefe", and everyone thought it was really funny but also a terrifying indictment of his mental state?

The tweet read simply:

Despite the negative press covfefe", sparking conspiracy theories and memes all over the internet.

Following the news that a horse named Covfefe had won a race, Trump resurrected the Covfefe conversation.

He tweeted:

Great! But how do you know it was a "mistweet"? May be something with deeper meaning!

Of course, the likelihood of that actually being the case is slim at best.

As you can imagine, Trump's latest tweet created a lot of chatter online.

The now-deleted tweet is still a mystery – now all that remains is Trump tweeting, "Who can figure out the true meaning of "covfefe" ??? Enjoy!"
