Maintaining a loving relationship over the course of many, many decades is never likely to be easy but you would hope a couple like Mickey and Minnie Mouse could hold it together.
Disney's iconic couple have had a rich and fulfilling relationship for the last 90 years but thanks to the actions of one man that may have all been scuppered.
A now viral video shared on Twitter sees a tourist named Johnny Jean get down on one knee and ask Minnie for her hand in marriage whilst visiting Disney's Epcot Centre in Orlando, Florida.
It appears that Minnie accepts his proposal, however, things take a turn for the worst when Mickey turns up and clocks what is happening, and to say he was livid would be an understatement.
Take a look at what went down here but don't blame us if your concept of love is ruined forever after watching it.
There is so much to dissect here.
Firstly, why would Minnie say yes? Is her love for Mickey on the wane? Say it ain't so?
Then there is Mickey's reaction which is absolutely priceless. The level of shock on his face tells a thousand stories.
Johnny then tries to confess his innocence and apologise but Mickey give's him the old 'I've got my eye on you' gesture. You can just feel the coldness in his eyes.
Also, Mickey's mate Goofy appeared on the scene so it looks like he had brought some muscle along just in case it all kicked-off with Johnny.
The video has been viewed over 4.2 million times on Twitter since Nai Sandoval posted it on July 29 and people can't' get enough of it.
Speaking to the Huffington Post, Johnny admitted that it was his first time at Disney World and wanted to do something different when he met Minnie, but he probably didn't anticipate that sort of drama.
He said:
When I saw Mickey come over, I was super shocked, but it made it so much funnier.
And my friend Anna's reaction standing next to him definitely put the cherry on top of the whole decision. Â
I’m just hoping I didn’t do any real damage to their relationship!
