These snippets from Dani Dyer's new book are as iconic as they are ridiculous

Dani Dyer, the daughter of EastEnders actor Danny Dyer, was catapulted into fame when she won the last season of ITV’s dating show Love Island.

After Love Island, there are certain steps most contestants go through. There’s often a few glossy magazine shoots with the person they “coupled up” with on the show. Then there’s a social media fall-out followed by a public break up. In among all this, there’s club appearances and dead-eyed sponsored posts for detox tea and fast-fashion brands. If they’re a real star, an ITVbe reality show *might* be on the cards.

Though very few contestants make it into literary form. Dyer is one of the lucky ones, having just released her new memoir What Would Dani Do?

Hilariously, journalist Sarah Carson has tweeted a thread of all the funniest parts of the book. There are some corkers.

Firstly, Dyer talked about her mum. She sounds iconic.
