A dad set a task for his son and the heartwarming result made him cry

Turns out there may be a physical reason men cry less than women, not just psychological, according to a Dutch study.

One Tumblr user from China said he's only ever seen his father cry once and shared the heartwarming story, prompting thousands to reveal moving tales where their dad cried too.

Han Alexander said his dad set him a task when he was three years old in which three items were laid out in front of him - a pen, a toy and a dollar. Han was asked to pick only one.

The pen represented intelligence; the toy, fun; and the dollar portrayed money, said Han.

Han wrote:

According to him, I crawled towards them, he held his breath, and I pushed everything aside and went right into his arms.

He didn’t realise that he was one of the choices.

And that was the first, and the only time I made him cry.
