Joe Biden reportedly ‘broke wind’ in front of Camilla and she ‘hasn’t stopped talking about’ the incident since
If we were due to have a conversation with Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, we’d probably be a little bit nervous too, but according to The Mail on Sunday, US President Joe Biden farted when he spoke to her during the Cop26 climate change summit in Glasgow this week.
The outlet reports that the incident – which allegedly occurred during a reception at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery on Monday - made the Duchess blush, with their source saying: “It was long and loud and impossible to ignore”.
“Camilla hasn’t stopped talking about it,” they added.
Whether the reports are true or a load of hot air (sorry), it wouldn’t be the first time that the Democrat has been accused of letting it rip during a political engagement.
In May 2020, rumours floated around that the former vice president broke wind during a live-streamed discussion with Tom Wolf, the governor of Pennsylvania. The speculation occurred after a ripping sound could be heard as Biden leant back in his chair.
Wolf’s spokesperson didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment from BuzzFeed News at the time, while a Biden aid told them that they were “glad you’re putting resources into this important story”.

This time around, however, the White House declined to comment.
Twitter had a great time with it, though:
