The Conservative Party conference is in full swing, with the likes of Boris Johnson and Priti Patel delivering impassioned speeches about ending freedom of movement and Brexit, among other salient topics.

For some Tory members, it was too much.

A number of them were photographed snoozing during probably one of the most important conferences in recent memory.

The foreign secretary Dominic Raab and international trade secretary Liz Truss were just some of the people also speaking at the conference, which saw people in the audience taking a nap.

The images were picked up by people online. Given the fast-approaching Brexit deadline and uncertainty related to a post-EU membership Britain, some people thought the image was peak politics
