It would be dreamy if we could speed up the dismantling of a cisheteropatriarchal social framework which forces a presumption of straightness onto literally everyone, wouldn't it?

In the meantime though, queer people are forced to come out to a world that remains - still today - largely hostile towards the LGBTQ+ community.

Coming out is a wildly diverse experience - there are people who never have to, some who never want to, others that find it liberating and many for whom it presents very real risks.
