The Hillary Clinton email scandal summed up in 21 words

The FBI investigation into former congressman Anthony Weiner has led to more email related scandal for Hillary Clinton.

Weiner, who has been found to be sending sexually explicit text messages to a 15-year-old girl, was married to a top aide to Clinton until April 2016.

The shared laptop of Weiner and his estranged wife Huma Abedin was seized by the FBI. On it, they discovered emails which neither Clinton nor the State Department had disclosed.

This is yet another setback for Clinton with regards to the email saga, which has been damaging her campaign since before it even began.

One fear for Democrats is that their voter base will be put off voting for Clinton due to scandals such as this, and will not cast their ballots at all on 8 November, delivering a Trump presidency by fault.

It is worth remembering that Clinton was cleared of any criminal wrongdoing in July.
