Since he became the president-elect, Joe Biden has become everyone's favourite person (unless you are a Trump supporter) and people want to hear what he has to say.

Biden hasn't sat down for any interviews yet but when he is ready to maybe he should consider speaking to Hollywood actor Chris Evans, who has a unique idea for the chat.

The Avengers and Knives Out actor, who was a firm critic of Trump, was tweeted by Rachel Leishman, the associate editor of pop culture website The Mary Sue, who dared Evans to interview Biden for A Starting Point, a new political app co-created by the star aiming to give clear and concise answers on important issues to the electorate.

However, Leishman didn't just want a normal interview with Biden, she wanted to Evans to do it dressed as old man Captain America from Avengers: Endgame.

Not only did Evans like the idea, he shared a side by side picture of him and Biden and the similarities were uncanny. He even joked that he and the president-elect would be starring in a forthcoming Parent Trap remake.

People were understandably delighted to hear this and perhaps hadn't noticed the similarities between Biden and old man Cap.

Spoilers for Avengers: Endgame ahead.

If you are a bit confused as to what is going on, allow us to explain.

At the end of Avengers: Endgame, Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, travels back to the past to live out his life with his true love, Peggy Carter.

He reunites years later with his Avengers colleagues but now he is a much older man. Evans only appears as the older version of the character for a few minutes but the image was memorable enough for people to recognise the similarity with Biden and the comparisons have been circulating online for the past few days.

The pair were unintentionally compared in a viral meme over the weekend which played out the story of the election as if it was the climactic battle scene in Endgame, with Biden playing Captain America.

Whether Evans does end up interviewing Biden anytime soon or not, we reckon this won't be the last we've heard of this similarity between the two men.
