BrewDog is once again trolling Dominic Cummings by renaming a beer after him.
After the Cummings scandal in May, the Scottish brewer wanted to get involved in rinsing the senior adviser.
They asked their social media followers to help them name a Cummings-themed beer.
People overwhelmingly voted for ‘Barnard Castle Eye Test’ and BrewDog released it as a special edition beer.
At the time of the beer’s release, there was pressure on Cummings to resign. He didn’t.
Fast forward a few months it finally has been confirmed that Cummings has left his position, prompting the brewer to hint at a rebrand.
The co-founder James Watt posted an image of three cans with “Cummings & Goings” written on them.
He suggested that this would be the “sequel” to the Barnard Castle Eye Test IPA.
People thought it was a brilliant marketing move by BrewDog.
