A Fox news presenter is so angry about the accusations of sexual misconduct against Brett Kavanaugh she suggested it might be the result of hypnosis. Yes, really.
Speaking on the news channel, Jeanine Pirro questioned whether hypnosis was involved in the allegations of sexual misconduct against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
She said:
I have never seen anything like this in my career in over three decades.
I’ve never seen so many repressed memory cases in my life, especially against one guy.
She continued:
My question is, if there’s something awry going on, was there hypnosis, are they using confabulation?
I don’t want to get in the weeds here, but you know what? This is where they have a right to true cross-examination.
Right…
Christine Blasey Ford, who will testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday, has not publicly mentioned any "repressed memories".
Kavanaugh has been accused by two women of sexual misconduct. Blasley Ford, the first accuser, claims that Kavanaugh forced himself onto her at a high school party in the eighties.
The second accuser is Deborah Ramirez, who accuses Kavanaugh of exposing himself to her at a college party in the 80s at Yale University.
Kavanaugh has categorically denied all the allegations from both women.
