Beyoncé had to intervene over her mother's Instagram account

If your parents are on social media, they are almost certainly a nightmare.

Sure you love them IRL, but how annoying is it when your mum keeps sending you three-year-old memes and commenting on photos of your nights out?

But don’t worry – it happens to everyone. Even Beyonce.

Her mum, Tina Knowles Lawson, has become a bit of an Instagram star herself. In particular, people are loving her regular ‘Corny Joke Time’, where she tells adorably awful jokes.

Here are some of her brilliant clangers:

Why shouldn’t you write with a broken pencil? Because it’s pointless.

What happened when the lettuce and the tomatoes had a race? The lettuce was head and the tomatoes were trying to ketchup.

What did one toilet say to the other? Are you ok? Because you look flushed.

And while that’s utterly lovely when its someone else’s mum, its unbearable cringe when its your own.

So Beyonce has genuinely had enough, and told her mum to stop doing it.

In her latest post, Tina says that her daughter has had words with her.

But she’s not having any off it.

You know, Beyoncé was telling me the other day that I shouldn’t do corny jokes all the time. But I told her, when you get my age, you gotta find your light.

And then she dropped another joke.

Don’t ever stop, Tina.
