BBC Breakfast plunged into chaos as on-screen clock breaks

Jon Kay and Nina Warhurst were forced into chaos on BBC Breakfast this morning (20 September) when their on-screen clock broke.

"Our clock’s broken!” Jon exclaimed. “It’s causing chaos for lots of you this morning", he added, saying that viewers had been calling the studio to say they didn't know what time it was.

“If you haven’t got a clock in the house, or a phone, the time is 6:26 am.”

“Well done, Jon,” Nina joked of the technical blunder.
