Barack Obama asked inevitable, excellent question in Jamaica

Barack Obama is seemingly having a great time in Jamaica while he attends a Caribbean summit, declaring "I just like the vibe here" and attempting some patois.

Rastafarian Miguel Williams, who wished "life and blessings on you and your family" to Obama, said the legalisation of marijuana and hemp in America could alleviate poverty in Jamaica.

With a comical sigh indicating he expected the question, Obama conceded the war on drugs in the US had been counterproductive but that legalising marijuana - as the states of Colorado and Washington have done - was not a "silver bullet" and unlikely to be federal policy anytime soon.
