Donald Trump's campaign and election has allowed a virulent strain of US neo-Nazism to creep out of the shadows.
You could say that Trump's xenophobic rhetoric, endorsement by the Ku Klux Klan and Islamaphobic/anti-Semitic declaration have actually encouraged this mentality.
Certainly, the swastika, the ultimate Nazi symbol, has been appearing more frequently since his election.
According to the Southern Poverty Law Centre, there have been 60 acts of vadalism involving the swastika since the election. Fourteen have been seen in New York, home to around 1.1 million Jews.
