She hasn't even been a congresswoman for two months and we are already convinced that there is nothing that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez can't do.

Whether it's decimating the US election process or using clips ofThe Office to mock her critics she has proven to be a breath of fresh air in the 2019 political landscape.

In further proof of this, she has been recorded enjoying the affections of a friendly bulldog and it's probably the most wholesome and heartwarming thing you'll see on the Internet all day.

The footage was filmed last summer by the comedian Simone Norman and was shared on Thursday, which just happened to be #NationalLoveYourPetDay.

Given the never-ending joy that Ocasio-Cortez brings to the Internet on a daily basis, you won't be surprised to hear that this clip has already been viewed more than 5 million times.

Needless to say, people cannot get over this overwhelming amount of cuteness.
