Syrian activist and documentary filmmaker, Naji Jerf, was killed in Turkey Sunday.
Jerf was a member of Raqqa is Being Slaughtered Silently (RBSS), a group exposing human rights abuses within Isis-controlled territory.
The Committee to Protect Journalists said that Jerf was shot in broad daylight outside a building in Gaziantep that houses Syrian opposition media.
The RBSS also announced the death of the father-of-two - who was known for his opposition to both President Bashar al-Assad and Isis - on Twitter.
