If you’ve ever wondered about the wealth of European countries compared to the US – this map is for you.
Reddit user Speech500 has uploaded a map showing how much area of the US each European country takes up, according to its Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
The data is based on IMF figures.
The largest areas are taken up by Germany, Spain, France and the UK, followed by Sweden, Morocco, Greece and Poland.
You can see from the map that the GDP of France roughly covers the states Florida, Georgia and Alabama. The UK’s GDP takes up roughly the states of Minnesota and Wisconsin.
