SNP supporters are donning tin hats in support of Nicola Sturgeon after a Labour MP called her a "wee less" in a "tin helmet".
David Hamilton made the comments at Scottish Labour's spring conference this weekend, saying: "We've got to go out there and not just be negative about the SNP, because that's dead easy to do - very easy to do when you see the wee lass with the tin helmet on."
In the wake of the comments, which the SNP candidate for Hamilton's seat in Midlothian told the Daily Mail were "sexist", the Huffington Post notes supporters of Sturgeon have been posting rather wonderful selfies of themselves wearing tin hats.
