Cooking oils, wet wipes and nappies are known to contribute to blockages in our drains, which often get so big they become known as “fatbergs”.

But according to the Consumer Council for Water these aren’t the only unwelcomed objects they’ve discovered in the sewers in the last year. Here are 10 of the stranger items:
