How well European countries speak English, mapped

Over a million people across 72 countries have been ranked according to how well they speak English.

According to data by Education First EPI, the country which has the best English speakers is the Netherlands followed closely by Denmark, Sweden and Norway.

Here's a map of Europe to showcase the results.

The darker the colour, the higher the English proficiency.

The lowest end of the scale features Azerbaijan, with a score of 46.90, and Turkey with 47.89.
