If all the politics of the world (think Kim Jung Un's recent nuclear test, Donald Trump and Britain’s third election in two years) is getting you down, don’t worry.
Reddit users have been reminiscing about simpler times by re-sharing an iconic image from their youth.
This simple, warm map of the world can be found in the book ‘It’s a Big Big World’. Published over 25 years ago and translated into a multitude of languages, it presents a friendly, happy world.
And goodness knows we need that.
The original 1991 version was published in Spanish, but over the years has been translated into numerous languages - Polish; Hungarian, Afrikaans, German, French and Greek; Hebrew; Japanese, Finnish, Russian, Portuguese and Slovak, and Slovenian in 1997.
Reddit users are inclined to agree, and have been sharing their love for the book from all over the world.
The illustrations were drawn by Andre Labrie.
You can still purchase the entire book, complete with continent-specific illustrations, here.
