If you’re a woman and you’ve had enough of the men in your life, a new island off the coast of Finland could be the perfect destination.
You see, men aren’t allowed there.
Founded by Kristina Roth, the idea to open an island like this came after her own stay at a number of wellness retreats in California.
She told The New York Post:
When there was a cute guy, women would put on lipstick. The idea [at SuperShe island] is, hey, focus on yourself
The exclusive resort off the coast of Finland will be a luxury home-away-from-home for women, complete with little cottages filled with luxurious furniture, beautiful greenery and still waters.
Roth decided to purchase the island after encouragement from her partner, a local.
His parents own an island on the archipelago, and he kept telling me, the island next door is for sale.
SuperShe Island is set to open in June, and reservations will be made public in July. To apply for “exclusive membership”, women have to fill out an application form and write why they are excited about the SuperShe Community. They can also upload a video message to strengthen their application.
While this seems like male-free Heaven on earth, the price could leave much to be desired. According to Cosmopolitan, an all-inclusive 7-day stay will start at $3,500 (£2,517).
