Maggie Haberman, White House correspondent for the New York Times, had something terrifying, but not particularly surprising, to share about Trump.
When things aren’t going to plan, she says, Trump blames those around him.
Haberman shared a story alleging that Trump getting angry at staff for allowing the media storm surrounding Attorney General Jeff Sessions, and reports he had met with Russian officials, to take attention away from him.
Haberman wrote:
Trump fumes at staff yesterday. When things aren't going well, Trump never shoulders blame.
Haberman added:
During the campaign, Trump would routinely kick aides off the plane as a time-out. 'They hate me because they hate you,' was a refrain.
The CNN article she links to writes:
The President is showing increasing flashes of anger over the performance of his senior staff and daily developments about Russia overshadowing his message, multiple people inside the White House and outside the administration told CNN.
