Trump’s ‘comically tiny’ desk has become a hilarious meme

On Thursday, Trump emerged from the shadows to hold a White House press conference.

This was the first time since the election that he’d taken questions from reporters.

Somewhat predictably, it didn’t go too smoothly. At one point, he lost his cool and lashed out at a reporter.

The journalist asked him a question he didn’t like about conceding and Trump responded furiously.

Trump told the reporter: “You're just a lightweight. Don't talk to me that way! I'm the president of the United States! Don't ever talk to the president that way.”

People thought this was juvenile. But Trump’s behaviour wasn’t the only thing that people thought was childish.

The desk the president was sitting at looked like it was designed for a kid.

The internet couldn’t stop talking about how remarkably small it was. And so, a meme was born.

Trump has long been mocked for supposedly having tiny hands. 

At least this desk made them look comparatively big.
