Lady Gaga has called out president Trump after his campaign criticised her for joining Joe Biden in Pennsylvania.

The singer announced on Sunday that she’d be joining Biden in Pittsburgh as part of his final efforts to get out the vote for Tuesday’s election.

In response, the Trump campaign almost instantly released a press release criticising Lady Gaga.

The release, written by Trump’s communications director Tim Murtaugh, said: “Nothing exposes Joe Biden’s disdain for the working men and women of Pennsylvania like campaigning with anti-fracking activist Lady Gaga.”

The release called Lady Gaga’s appearance a “desperate effort to drum up enthusiasm” and accused Biden of pandering to “the liberal Hollywood elite and the radical left.”

Lady Gaga wasn't having any of it. She decided to clap back on Twitter in the most perfect way.

She shared that she was "so happy" to be "living rent-free" in Murtaugh's head.

Instead of this ending the bizarre feud, Trump doubled-down on his attack.

He sent a tweet in the early hours of the morning, once again connecting Lady Gaga to anti-fracking causes.

He wrote: "Just learned that Sleepy Joe Biden is campaigning in Pennsylvania with Lady Gaga, a proud member of “Artists Against Fracking.” This is more proof that he would ban Fracking and skyrocket your energy prices."

Lady Gaga and Trump arguing during the final days of the election was not on our 2020 bingo card.
