Many women are no strangers to inappropriate and sexist messages on online dating apps, but one man took it too far when he tried to fat-shame someone in a bizarre and fatphobic rant.
When Emily Langston, a dance teacher from Essex, matched a guy named Matt on Tinder, she thought he wasn't going to do any further than his already-inappropriate opening line of: "I'm jealous of your heart. It's pumping inside you and I'm not".
But this (very bad) attempt at being flirty quickly flip-flopped when he proceeded to call her a "s**g" and a "fat c**t", bizarrely blaming his bad language on his teddy "Olaf".
Get yourself a boy off tinder who talks to you like this 🤩🤤😍🤪 oh Matt, you’re cancelled x https://t.co/brEECO1PaV— THE BLUE QUEEN X (@THE BLUE QUEEN X) 1560199049
Speaking to the Metro, Langston said:
I didn’t chat to him any further, that was literally our whole conversation.
After that, he asked if he could have my friend’s number. And then asked if I was a virgin. ‘I unmatched him afterwards because I thought he was an idiot!'
But after posting the conversation on Twitter alongside the caption: "Get yourself a boy off Tinder who talks to you like this. Oh Matt, you're cancelled x", her post quickly went viral and Twitter users were quick to jump to her defence.
