We all have days when we overindulge, but one teenager took it to the next level when he attempted to consume 10,000 calories in a single day.
TikToker @vinniemurphy1, whose account is usually dedicated to “gym/fitness content” decided to ditch his healthy eating plans and take up the monster food challenge.
In a clip that has been viewed more than 615,000 times, Vinnie says: "Right, this is what I eat in a day - 10,000 calorie edition."
He kicks off the day with 200g of oats (a recommended single serving is 40g), slathered with M&M’s chocolate spread and scattered with Hershey’s milk chocolate drops, followed by an “extra fruity” hot cross bun.
That set him at a staggering 1,939 calories by 7:20am. To put that into perspective, the NHS recommends that adults consume around 2,000 - 2,500 calories per day.

He then drives off to McDonald’s to order two double sausage and egg McMuffins, plus pancakes and more sausage. The total? Another 1,785 calories.
"It’s just turned 10 o’clock and we’ve just demolished all the McDonald’s,” he tells the camera.
"To be honest, I don’t feel that awful after that, but we’ll just have to see how it goes for the rest of the day."
Vinnie then munches through an entire bag of white chocolate cookies from Tesco (995 calories), before admitting that, 4,719 calories down, he’s not feeling his best.
Still, he doesn’t stop there.
Vinnie admitted he couldn’t get through this mound of nuggets and chips
For lunch (if we can call it that by this point), he serves up nuggets and chips smothered with Nando’s salt and barbeque sauce, bringing his total to 5,960.
“I’ve sat here for about half an hour trying to eat this, “ he admits. But there’s still another 4,040 calories to go if he wants to hit his target.
For an afternoon snack, he tucks into three Turkish Delight bars and Galaxy Truffles from an Easter egg.
“Gonna be honest, I’ve just been trying to not be sick all afternoon", he says, before moving onto a Galaxy Easter egg and a tub of Turkish Delight ice cream (which comes to 1,900 calories).
We dread to think how many grams of sugar he consumed
Feeling hopeful that, if he finishes his sweet feast, he’ll be on the home straight, he gives an update an hour later showing things didn’t go so well.
“I’m not gonna lie, I can’t stomach all of that Easter egg and ice cream. I did as much of it as I could.
“I’m at 8,500 calories - I’m not going to lie to you if I eat another mouthful of food I’m gonna puke, so I’m gonna leave it there. It has defeated me but, it is what it is."
The two-part video has racked up more than 84,000 likes and hundreds of comments from viewers divided over the stomach-churning feat.
One wrote: “Idk I feel like this looks easy.”
While another said: “I barely eat 1,000 calories a day – how do people eat this many!”
Another commented: “Me watching this whilst currently eating 8.5k every day thinking this is light work.”
And another added: “You lost me at Turkish delight.”
