Taylor Swift had the perfect response to a sexist question from a journalist who asked her whether or not she would be having kids soon.
With the “ME!” singer’s 30th birthday approaching in December, Swift was asked if the day will be a “turning point” and if she would like to be a mother “one day”.
During the appearance on German news agency Deutsche Press-Agentur, Swift replied:
I really don't think that men would be asked this question when they turn 30,” she replied.
So I'm not going to answer that now."
She went on to explain what turning 30 means to her:
I hear others say that in your 30s you don't have as much stress and anxiety in your life as in your 20s, and I can add the observation that we in our 20s are on the search, to gain experience, try things out, fail, make mistakes.
And I definitely plan to try and fail things in my 30s as well. But I expect that in our 30s we know a bit better about who we are. The closer I get to it, the more I feel that that's what will happen. I hope it will!"
Swift is currently gearing up to release her seventh album, and has been dropping hints as to what fans can expect.
She told The Independent last week that the title of the album is hidden in the music video for her latest single as something viewers see once and hear twice.
