Serena Williams shares first photo of her baby daughter

Serena Williams has shared the first photo of her and Reddit founder Alexis Ohanian's baby daughter - she also revealed the name on Instagram.

The tennis superstar wrote on the photo sharing site:

Meet Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr.

Williams also directed her followers to an incredible montage about her pregnancy journey.

Baby Alexis was born on 1 September, and Williams explained that there were some complications with the birth.

In a video she said:

So we’re leaving the hospital after six days, it’s been a long time. We had a lot of complications, but look who we got, a baby girl!
